This policy explains what personal data Gosensing collects through this website, why, and the choices you have. Gosensing is operated by Smart Steps, SCO 181-182, Sector 8C, Madhya Marg, Chandigarh 160009, India ("we", "us").

What we collect

  • Details you send us through the contact form: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), the service you're interested in, your budget range (optional) and your message.
  • How you found us, if you arrived from a link or an ad: campaign tags such as UTM parameters and ad click IDs. These are kept in your browser for the current visit only, and are sent to us only if you submit the contact form.
  • Website analytics, only if you agree to analytics cookies: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location (country or city).

We don't use the website to collect sensitive personal data, and we ask you not to send it through the form.

Why we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and discuss working together.
  • To understand which pages and campaigns bring enquiries, so we can improve the site. This only applies if you've consented to analytics or marketing cookies.

Legal bases (GDPR): our legitimate interest in replying to enquiries you send us, and your consent for analytics and marketing cookies. Under India's DPDP Act, we process this data on the basis of your consent, which you give through the form's checkbox and the cookie banner.

Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run the website and handle enquiries. They process data only on our instructions:

  • Vercel: hosts the website and processes form submissions.
  • Google: email and Google Sheets, where enquiries are delivered and stored; and, only with your consent, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics and Google Ads.
  • Calendly: only if you choose to book a call through our Calendly link.

We don't sell your personal data.

International transfers

Some providers store data outside your country, including in India and the United States. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries only as long as we need them to reply, follow up and keep business records, and we delete them sooner if you ask.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, withdraw consent, object to processing, or complain to your data protection authority. To use any of these rights, email gosensing@gmail.com.
